Intro

The Mission: Rebrand a Blog, Transfer Content to Substack, and Create an Editorial Process that Works for the Team.

The Center for Asian American Christianity had hosted a blog on their site for two years, but their parent institution was transferring their previously independent subsite into a subdirectory of the newly remodeled parent site, removing the independent branding and the blogging capabilities of the Center. As the contracted digital production project manager of the CAAC team, I was tasked with taking the blog in an alternative direction.

I was asked to (1) serve as a member of the team working on rebranding the site, (2) transfer the original content from the Center’s site to a new Substack account, and (3) create a system that would support the editorial team’s continuing work of publishing content for the CAAC’s audience.
